for the family of marcos arenas... its been a long wait for today. trial will officially begin against michael solid. prosecutors say him and another man jacob dismont are responsible for killing 15-year-old marcos arenas back in 20-13. witnesses say dismont jumped out of an s-u-v on charleston boulevard... ran up to the 15 year old... punched him... and stole his i-pad. li men... and was eventually run over... and killed by their s-u-v. family members remember the teenager as a good kid: ((ivan arenas // father: it's not going to bring my baby back. whether they get life or they get out tomorrow it's not going to change the fact that i'm not going to be able to hug my son anymore.)) ((brian loftus)) u-s swimmer ryan lochte issued an apolgy up robbery scandal. lochte apologized on social media for his behavior... after saying he was robbed at gunpoint with three other u-s swimmers at a rio gas station. in a televised interview, he added he "over- exaggerated" the story. he wrote on an instagram post --quote-- "i should have been much more responsible in how i handled myself and for that am sorry." the u-s olympic committee says further action is being taken.

is expected to make a visit in louisiana... after the state suffered from catastrpic flooding. the state government reports nearly 60- thousand homes are damaged. that's a 50- percent increase compared to what the governor said last week. but officials say some areas are still underwater.. so the count could go up. the red cross says the flooding is the nation's worst disaster since superstorm sandy in 2012. forecasters say it will be awhile until the floodwaters recede. /// ((michelle mortensen)) suicide bomber kills at least 50 people at a wedding party in turkey. the blast was so powerful it shattered glass and took out chunks of concrete from buildings in a town near the turkish-syrian border. investigators say that suicide bobmer was between just 12 and 14 years old. experts beleve the attack was in retaliation for syrian kurdish advances on isis forces in syria. so far no one has claimed responsibility for the terror attack./// let's get a check of the roads with demetria.
